So the way you use your time makes a lot of difference in whether or not you will succeed in life. Consequently, your time management skill is an important skill to develop. The better you manage your time, the more you can achieve in life. In this article, I'd like to share with you three time management tips I've found useful. 1. Find your life purpose
Finding your life purpose is essential for effective time management because your life purpose determines how you should spend your time. You should build your life around your purpose. You should choose and do activities that help you achieve your life purpose. That's why you need to find your purpose first. I know it's not easy and it may take years before you know exactly what your life purpose is. But even some clues will be enough to get you started in effective time management.
2. Set your priorities based on your purpose
After you find your life purpose, you can set priorities on what to do and what not to do. Your purpose is the standard with which you should set your priorities. Things that support your purpose should be given higher priorities and things that don't support your purpose should be given lower priorities. Since you already know what you want, it's easier for you to assess the importance of every activity.
3. Eliminate unnecessary things
After setting your priorities, you will find things that have low priorities. Eliminate as many of them as possible. By eliminating them you simplify your life while at the same time free up your time for the more important things. It may be difficult to do that, but it's necessary to make your life as effective as possible. By spending less time on the wrong things, you save your time. By spending more time on the right things, you increase your chance of success.
